I have lived in Hampton Roads with my family since 1981.  I raised 3 sons here while my husband was serving in the Navy.  He retired in 1998 and we decided that this was home so we stayed.  As a spouse of a retired military member, I personally understand the anxiety that military personnel and their familes new to the area experience when loking for a new home.

I specialize in first time home buyers. Educating them about the financing side of the transaction, thru the home inpsection process and the contract negotiation. I feel it is truly important to understand exactly what you are doing when purchasing a home from start to finish. I like to educate my buyers on thinking about the true idea of home ownership, not just looking at the home but realizing that they must be able to afford it.

First time buyers should start out small and affordable on their first home and then after a few years it will become a nest egg and then they can upsize when the time is right.

I enjoy listing homes as wel.  I like to show sellers what they need to do to get their home sold.  It is all about condition, staging and pricing it correctly.  Anyone can plant a sign in the yard.  But , only some of us have what it takes to actually SELL a home. I guide my sellers from start to finish. I help them realize early on  what needs to be done up front to help with the final reslts in the end. "HOME SOLD"
